Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update & Guidance

First of all I would like to say thank you for your support and patience whilst the clinic has been closed.  I want to assure you that I am doing everything I can to keep you, your families and our wider community as safe as possible at this time. Please read the important changes outlined below before your next visit to clinic - thank you. 

Please be assured that even with these changes in place the clinic will remain a relaxing and nurturing place for you to rest, relax and heal. I look forward to seeing you soon.

I am pleased to let you know that our clinic is considered a Covid-19 Secure premises as per government guidelines.

A step by step guide to your next appointment: 

I will email you a Health Information Questionnaire to be completed. This will ask if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, have been asked to self-isolate, if anyone in your home is self isolating and if you have been in contact with anyone who has COVID-19.  If the answer to these questions is no then we are good to go ahead with treatment. If the answer is yes, please just let me know and we will re-arrange your appointment. Please email the form back to me prior to your appointment. It is essential that I have the completed form prior to your treatment.

1. Prior to treatment

Please arrive at the clinic at the time of your appointment, this will reduce the chance of seeing other people in the building.

2. Appointment time

Please call my mobile phone - 07725 805981 - on arrival at the building, I will come downstairs and open the door for you. I will great you with a smile and then put my mask on. Please bring a face mask with you (I can provide one for a small fee if needed). I will guide you upstairs to the bathroom so that you can wash your hands with soap before you come through to the treatment room. Please allow me to open any doors for you on your arrival and exit. Please rest assured these will still be disinfected between each patient. 

3. On arrival at clinic

We will sit 2 meters apart before we start the treatment.

4. In the clinic room

As always, I will wash my hands before there is any physical contact and again afterwards. I will sit well over 2 meters away during your treatment with a room separator in situ for your privacy. 

5. Treatment

All soft furnishings in the clinic are now wipeable including the pillow cases and knee support so they can be disinfected between each patient.

And also please be aware:

Minimise the number of people in clinic

Please come to your appointment on your own if you are able to. I understand that this is not possible for everyone and we are able to work with those of you that need support from family, friends or carers

High risk patients

I will be seeing all patients if needed. However, if you are in the vulnerable category (elderly, pregnant or with chronic health issues) then I would ask you to be extra vigilant with they above safety procedures

Coughs and sneezes

Please adhere to good hygiene practice and cough / sneeze into the crook of your elbow to prevent the spread of germs


Our bathrooms are open but I would encourage you to use your own before and after treatment if possible

Towels / Foil blankets

We will no longer be using towels. Please feel free to bring your own towel to the session if you prefer. I will also provide you with a foil blanket at your next treatment for free and would ask that you bring this with you to each subsequent session. There will be a small fee if you would like to purchase another one at any following session
